So did John Tedesco, visionary behind Knapp Kitchens’ sister company, Artistry Masters of Woodcraft, creator of world-renowned fine home furnishings. So, shortly after founding Artistry, Tedesco set to work on developing his company that focuses primarily on what today is not only one of the most functional rooms in a home, but also frequently the most social.
Today, family-owned Knapp Kitchens creates fine custom cabinetry and related furnishings for kitchen AND bath designs, crafted and installed by artisans, and is a preferred vendor for Dutch Made, Smith Port Cabinetry, Ultra Kraft, Rosewood, Cuisines Laurier, Danver Stainless Cabinetry and Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens.
These lines, plus Knapp’s signature custom line of cabinetry, Liliana Christine, can be seen at the state-of-the-art Knapp Showroom on South Olive Avenue in the heart of West Palm Beach. As a premier high-end kitchen and bath dealer, Knapp services Palm Beach Island, Jupiter and other pockets and communities throughout Palm Beach County.
Our Philosophy
Kitchen and bath design is a tricky business. Because while all the aesthetic qualities must remain, kitchens and baths are among the most utilitarian areas in a home. No amount of functionality can be forsaken in the name of beauty. This is of particular note when it comes to a Knapp Kitchens design. Founder and visionary John Tedesco demands of his over 30 company artisans that each piece reflects his own artistic integrity, yet stows the spice, utensil, ingredient and the like in the fashion of fine chefs. It is this delicate balance of form and function that resides at the crossroads of Knapp Kitchens—a delicate balance unavailable anywhere else but here.
